Tony Bombardo has long been considered Central New York's "Eye in the Sky" when it comes to the timely reporting of traffic conditions, tie-ups and accidents in Syracuse and other nearby communities.  Tony, after beginning his traffic reporting career in the fall of 1977 at 62 WHEN, has flown hundreds of thousands of miles over Syracuse giving listeners the most accurate and up-to-date traffic reports available on radio.  Every morning and afternoon Tony's  reports are heard by thousands of Central New Yorkers on these popular  Syracuse radio and television stations:  Movin' 100.3 - WWLF and Newschannel 9 - WSYR-TV

These two planes are owned by Tony Bombardo and are now being offered for sale as they are no longer being flown. The Cessna Cardinal is a 1974 aircraft with 7800 total hours on the airframe. Its last annual inspection was performed in 2008. This aircraft is serial number 0583 in the C-177RG series. These planes were flown by Tony for Command Traffic Reports for local radio and TV reports in recent years. The Piper Cherokee was originally owned by 62WHEN radio and Tony flew for the station under the moniker, "Captain Scott King". This plane was affectionally known as "The Spirit of Syracuse".
